Ole Miss football NIL allocation is also interesting. They are spending all of their money on a couple players at the top of their roster. Not as much money for everyone else.
Meanwhile, Texas Tech is guaranteeing something like $25K to every player in every sport, even the walk-ons. Why would you waste $25K on a replacement level player at the bottom of a roster?
