I like being in a conference with La Tech and Southern Miss.  Both programs have a tradition of success and I want that for North Texas.

Southern Miss had a slogan for a while.  "Anybody. Anywhere"  And by that they meant that they actually felt they could be competitive with any team in the nation.  And they were.  They have fallen on hard times lately but that winning spirit still surrounds Southern Miss. 

We have had a "Anybody.  Anywhere"  mentality too.  But all too often the motive is to cash a check rather than to notch a win.  I hope that has changed.
