I can be considered a Mac apologist but goddamn if he didn't just murder our program by refusing to recruit at the end. We beat SMU and they rebuilt faster we did, and we beat UTSA and now they appear to be ahead of us. It's pretty shameful, we haven't even been 2-0 in forever. This pisses me off.

You do realize that Littrell's recruiting is right where Mac's was his last couple of years, right?

The biggest issue is the lack of support this school has given athletics for the entire history of the school until recently.  

I'd say RV was a bigger issue than McCarney.  During his tenure we went to five bowl games and it was STILL the worst 15 years in UNT football history.
