Also plays basketball for his high school. Already holds a very good offer list, so he'll be a tough pull. But don't count us out with Coach KP. Not only did he pull JPP, a 4-star and one of the top JUCO players in the country, to South Florida, but he also pulled Ryne Giddins that year. Look at the offer list that kid had.

No, they are large obstacles in the road. North Texas will have to eventually get guys here and there of this caliber, right? Eventually? Start with this guy. The limelight of the other schools might be bright, but I think we reasonable shot. Guys like this can come to North Texas and probably make an immediate impact. Or go to the schools listed and redshirt then not touch the field until they are redshirt sophomores or juniors. That's 3 years of just running in place. Granted most will take the 3 years of running in place bc or their pride, but not all. It's the coaching staffs job to find the ones that want to make an impact now. They are out there.

One day it can happen, and I always believe we should be offering these guys. They can't commit unless we offer, after all.

But that day is probably not soon. We will need to keep winning, winning consistently and winning in front of national audiences to increase our chances.

Keep in mind our football program goes back over 100 years. We have seen success before and the country has watched us win before.

We have the pieces in place to turn things in our favor. I think we are a poll appearance away from stealing one or two HS kids from the OU and UTs of the world.
