No. 21: Tony Mitchell, SF (Atlanta Hawks Via Houston Rockets)

With that in mind, the team should use the draft pick they received from Houston to grab North Texas standout Tony Mitchell.

Mitchell has not developed as much as many people anticipated in his sophomore campaign, but he is still posting 14.8 points, 9.1 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game while shooting 47 percent overall.

TM's shown this season that he doesn't have the leadership makeup to raise the level of those around him as is required of a franchise player effectively dropping him out of the lottery.

May be for the best if he can carve out a Kawhi Leonard role for an established team.

As good as say CJ and JW are, they are still 2 or 3 levels below Tony at this point in their careers. Don't misunderstand, they are way above average players who will only get better in time as ling as some of the other issues get corrected within the program. Sometimes I think it would be better if they played within there own level rather than trying to raise the bar to a point that they simply can't get to right now. Besides, most of Tony's evaluation by the NBA have been based on the camps he attended and his play in Team USA, not on much of anything here at UNT. In some of the mock draft reports, they have said it is hard to evaluate due to the level of competition in the Sun Belt.

Well.....a shameful attempt at diplomacy on my part. Truthfully, I have not seen much.
