Don't know about the rest of you, but I don't give a tinkers damn about rehashing this black uniform saga. It's history that a few folks luv to dredge up so they can keep throwin their little bitter darts.

I think black uniforms might bring about a 79-3 shellacking of Ball State and...blackberry pie.

Also, the board has been very quiet about Mandy the last few months.

Send the FOI to the school and you will see that the Black shirts were paid for in Sept of 2006 along with the normal green and white ones. I have no idea what RV said or what DD said. I do know that the underclassmen had no input into black, green, blue or red. Also I have no idea what Jr. and Sr. wanted black just that they were paid for.

So what's the big deal and why continually rehash something from 3 years ago?

Noone really knows what happened except for those coaches that were on the staff...speculation and stories from other sources are usually just rumors or half of the story. And what could Kenny Evans had done about the uniforms? Tell Dickey no? Stop trying to put Evan's judgment in question. Of course I have a more personal view on this subject...the Dickey regime is what gave me an opportunity to become a captain and contributor to UNT my final two seasons. Evans, Dickey, and De Loach have all earned my loyalty for life. I've made mistakes and I would hate for one of my loyal friends or associates to turn on me for those mistakes. Everyone has moved on...Dickey is happy, Evans is happy, and UNT is happy. This started off as a blog updating us on Coach Evans, now it turns into a Dickey Black Uniform Bashing Party....If Evans was really going along with the Black Uniform idea don't you think he would've worn the black coaching shirts and pants too...Get over it and let's support the current Mean Green Football team and coaches. And please stop the speculations...like the JFK murder you will never know...unless stone makes a movie about it.....

Sadly Coach, this is rarely true. It is soooo good to hear from you again. Where are you coaching these days?
