Patrick Cobbs

You need to remember, this team in being run on favorites right now. Chatman was a backup on the Chargers when Cameron was an assistant there. He brought him back to the league from sitting out with (over)weight problems. Cameron is more interested in his guys, than the best guys. Or at least, that's how it looks.

I hate to say this, but if PC can't get carries for the worst team in the league, his NFL career may not last much longer. Either way he made a great accomplishment just by making an NFL squad. I am still proud of the player he is and his representation of UNT.

Cobbs is actually the fourth stringer now.

They have decided Gado runs "harder" up the middle.

They have also decided that Booker (their draft pick that has been benched the whole season) will now play as a WR/HB on 3rd downs.

So, Gado won't carry much unless Chatman is *really* hurt and Booker will take the 3rd down plays. Cobbs will likely get left off the active rooster for game days?

Really sucks.

BS. Like that Patriots pre-season game in PC's first year...he did so much better than everybody but one RB and they let him go. Dangit.

As Pats fan that hurt, they didnt let him go, they traded him for a draft pick and to a team where he was going to have an oppurtunity, with only Willie P and Najeh

Davenport at the time and coming off bettis retirement

Actually, they didn't have Davenport yet. Dookie Davenport *is* the reason Cobbs got the ill treatment. He was released from Green Bay the week of the Pats trade. The Steelers signed Dookie and released Cobbs. In doing so, the Steelers didn't owe the Pats the conditional draft pick after all..

Thus, the Pats effectively released him. ;)
