Coach Burns Resigns

A good opportunity to upgrade the program. RV has made significantly improvements in swimming and tennis coaching, hopefully he can come up with a winner. Burns, was hired after one good juco season and didn't appear to be able to recruit metroplex talent. She did get the team to a competitive point in the Belt but I don't think she was capable of producing a premier program.

The athletic site article said she just recently accepted a high school principals job? That seems like odd timing when the softball team was just eliminated last week. I do think the team improved a lot this season over last.

What about T.J. Hubbard...the interim head coach? Can he take the head coaching job and build a team here at UNT? Anyone close to the program have an opinion on that one?

Well, Mr. Burns had done it

The power plant had won it

With Roger Clemens clucking all the while

Mike Scioscia's tragic illness made us smile

While Wade Boggs lay unconscious on the bar room tile

We're Talkin' Softball

From Maine to San Diego

Talkin' softball

Mattingly and Canseco

Ken Griffey's grotesquely swollen jaw

Steve Sax and his run-in with the law

We're talkin' Homer...

Ozzie, and the Straw
