What time do you show up for tailgating?

I know some people will be arriving a bit earlier for SMU than usual, but, in general, what time do you usually get to Fouts?

Beerman starts at 3:30

Last year we got there at 3:30 for a 6pm game, and we had to park over at Clark Hall. This year, we're getting there between 2 and 2:30 to hopefully avoid the walk.

Yeah - He's in the parking lot, on the Students side of Fouts Field. Right by the entrance to the locker rooms.

We intend to be there by NOON give or take.

Beerman is set up in Orange parking lot down the second or third row. We'll definitely be tailgaiting close to him, probably before noon.

Hopefully my green face paint stays on this year. Last year the first couple of home games it was so hot, I didn't make it 'till game time.

Im going to be one of the early bird. I'm setting up by 10 am. I know thats early but I'll have the satellite hooked up and watching the days games. Feel free to stop on by.

Setting up with maybe two pick-up trucks....Mostly one....One of my friends who is helping me to organize has to go to Austin for the weekend, totally sucks...

We are planning to be 8-830am....setting up, then coming back with supplies, then being back over there at noon....

This is my first year to do some big time tailgating. I plan on leaving Fort Worth sometime between noon and two. I went out and bought a grill today so it oughta be cool. I dont know where im going to park. I got there two hours before the games last year and had a hell of a time finding a spot, but im hoping its not a problem this year since im leaving early.

If I may make a suggestion, I would suggest leaving at noon instead of two.

Well, I think people are more apt to tailgate for this game than most others. Getting a spot would be of prime importance to you I am sure. My guess is this will have a more crowded parking lot than a normal opener. Just my feeling.

Yeah im sure. Acutally I was somewhat suprised on how well the Tulsa opener drew last year. I screwed up big time there. Attendence was 22-23,000 for it I think.
