Last night I sat by the parents of one who graduates from a SA area HS this December & will enroll at UNT this Spring, He kicks field goals. The son sat on the other side of his mother but following NCAA rules I did not communicate with him, but did give a Texas-friendly nod.🙄

I didn’t get their name as I’d guess our GMG.com recruiting gurus would know that but I asked the kids papa what was the longest field goal his son had kicked & he said a 65 yard FG at practice.

I apologized to him for our rain crowd, but then showed him an IPhone pic of the SMU crowd last week which duly impressed him & his wife.

Very nice people.
