DRC: Littrell's rise in coaching was largely because of his skills as a spread guru, Wilson's was tied to his recruiting prowess. Now they face off

Nice write up! Good to see both teams on the up swing. Would like to see a strong C- USA ! GMG

Great article. I'm excited to see Fine play in a Dome against a middle of the pack pass defense. I think we'll learn a lot about Fine this game since defenses know they need to stop Wilson to win and playing in a dome, weather will not be a factor. Hopefully he gives us the performance we all believe is capable of pulling off!

Fine has burst on to the scene at UNT and been a big part of the Mean Green’s rise this season. He has thrown for 1,099 yards and four touchdowns.

...and only two interceptions.  I believe one of the most, if not the most, important QB stats is TD/INT ratio.  At 2.0 Fine's ratio is the best we have had since Scott Hall averaged 3.0 over his last two seasons.

A lot of other stats can changing depending on the scheme.  But a good TD/INT ratio means the QB is a good risk taker.  He knows when to force the throw and when not to.

Even in DT's senior year his ratio was only 1.2 (16TD 13INT).  Take a look at the box scores of the games we lost.  UGA was #9 and we did well to hang with them.  However the other 3 losses where to UTSA by 3, Ohio by 6 (OHIO    Jovon Johnson 42 yard interception return) and Tulane by 3 (TULN    Lorenzo Doss 59 yard interception return).

A little better TD/INT ratio and maybe the team ends 2013 at 12-1 instead of 9-4.
