Beach City resident Will Parker said one of the neatest things about being named to the All-Century Football Team at the University of North Texas was that three of his grandsons were able to experience hearing the announcements together.

It was exciting and really emotional to have my oldest son and three of my grandchildren there with me when they made the announcement, he said, talking about the University of North Texas Hall of Fame luncheon April 13 he attended with his wife, Gail, son Scott, and grandsons Kade, Kole and Kyler. It was great to have my family present to share in this honor and announcement, as I was excited and pleased with the outcome.
