Whoa. This is not A&M in college station Denver is playing, it is A&M-Corpus Christi which lost 21 games last year, is picked low in the conf this season and has lost an exhibition to Incarnate Word this season.

I've no idea what kind of team Tennessee State will be...but my assumption is pretty bad if Western won with numbers like this:

25 turnovers...including 9 by top freshman guard Derrick Gordon...to just 12 assists.

19-47 shooting...5-20 from 3...with only 3 players (Anyigbo 2-3, Crook 5-8, Zollo 2-4) shooting 50% or better.

I've not ventured over to the Haven...but I can not imagine they're lauding this win.

Glad FAU managed a win out west...tough way to try and start the year. Ray Taylor only played 11 minutes which is curious...if I recall he's been either off or in the doghouse to start seasons in the past.

Denver wins on the road?!?! May want to keep an eye on Brian Stafford...he's 18-30, 9-18 from 3 and averaging 28.5ppg through two games.

FIU...win is a win, I suppose.

Man...ULM is gonna be really bad.

These were the RPI's before the games last night (new numbers haven't gone up) - and given the results our RPI's should continue to improve. Right now the Belt is the 11th rated league (which will more than likely be our high water mark for the season).

54 UALR

70 USA

161 Denver
