The Hill was pretty dead today.

I rolled in at 6:15 p.m. and there were probably twice as many people on the hill that there were thereat 6 p.m. for the Indiana game.

So there were 50 last time? I have a perfect view of the hill from our seats, there couldn't have been more than 100 people out there. If that. It was dead 2 hours before the game, it was dead 30 minutes before the game, it was dead (outside) during the game. Running off the very people that you are trying to attract inside is a stupid idea. Can't think of a single college that does that.

Don't ever fudge with the tailgating.

The tailgating incredibly adds to the atmosphere. Even if the games are occasionally letdowns, many fans still have a great day because of tailgating and want to continue to come out to the stadium.

Once the game starts at UTEP you are allowed someone to watch your tailgate area, but you can not have a crowd stay.

Well hopefully we aren't striving to be like UTEP then. If you regulate tailgating we will have even less attendance, guaranteed.
