Not necessary NT offers:

1. WDE Jude Akpunku, Cedar Hill 6-3, 215, 4.65..no known offers but brother plays for NT in FB..his Sr. year coming, 5A All state, all area FB offense, All Area Defensive player of the year.....indications he has or will have NT visit.

2. ILB Austin Williams, Lake Travis HS, 6-1, 223, 4.67 only offer by Rice, possible visit made or will be made.

3. CB/S David Whitmore, 6-2, 185, 4.5 Pos rank # 45 , Port Arthur Memorial HS, attending college at a cc in Iowa but reported to be recruited by NT coach. Jr stats in HS 40 solo tackles, 13 pas breakups and two interceptions.

4. DT Johnny Hubbard, A. Maceo Smith HS, 6-2, 270, Sat 1150, offer by NT and 12 other major colleges. NT visit is scheduled.

5. 3*RB Donovonn Young, Katy HS, 5-11, 215, offers from McNeese St and Illinois...visit to nt stated 1-15-011,

6. DT/OG Rakeem Knight, 6-3, 294, Restoration Academy, Alabama, Most outstanding, all conference Defensive lineman. Reportedly NT offer but unable to document it in the major FB web sites.

7. QB Stevie Dorman, Somerset, TX HS , 6-4, 4.8 highly ranked QG descendent.

Young has committed to Illinois, but still intends to take his visit.

I know we don't really need another undersized DE, but I really like AK47 and think that his brother would likely play hard for UNT to live up to his brother's standard and make their family proud.

Why are you listing 7 commitments? I thought Wright was still un-committed?

Whatever happened to the tight end Power?

How many scholarships do we have to give in this class, the full 25?

These 6 listed by Rivals, plus QB Cooper Jones (not listed yet).

I thought Wright was still un-committed?

Both still uncommitted.

How many scholarships do we have to give in this class, the full 25?

I believe so . . . Our APR problems are resolved, anyway, so I don't know why we wouldn't.

Do we know if Wright ended up making the trip to Miami this weekend? Last I heard the trip was still up in the air.
