Dennis MIA as UNT prepares for Arkansas game

I stopped by UNT's afternoon practice today to talk with Johnny Jones and his players about their upcoming game at Arkansas.The interesting part is Collin Dennis was nowhere to be found. Jones said he hadn't heard from his senior guard and no one could find him. His status for this weekend's game at Arkansas is up in the air.

Jones was just hoping Dennis was OK this afternoon.

I am not about to speculate on what is going on, but there is little doubt UNT needs Dennis, a preseason all-conference selection.

Nothing seems to be going right for UNT lately. The Mean Green has lost three straight and has a tough three-game stretch against Arkansas, Arkansas State and Arkansas-Little Rock coming up.

Dennis is a starter and one of UNT's best players.

Collin, hope you're alright. We appreciate all the hard work all of you put in every day and all the sacrifices you and your teammates make. Did you guys even get to go home for Christmas?

We love watching UNT basketball at the Super Pit. It's the best ticket in town as far as my family is concerned. Thank you all for providing all of us with great entertainment.

Hope all is well and that you're back with the team for the Arkansas game.
