Home And Home Series With Texas Tech?

Tech is coming off a 9-4 season and could easily have been 11-2. They won their last 2 games against Oklahoma(remember OU?) and Virginia.

NT went 2-10 and could have easily made it 3-9...

I really don't think that Tech is afraid of NT. Tech is a better team under Leach than they were in 1999 under Dykes whereas NT has not improved their lot(should in the future)....

This would be a good game for both schools; Tech gets metroplex exposure and NT gets a quality in-state rival that would generate a little excitment...

Green glasses has nothing to do with it, it's the truth and if my memory serves me correct they refused to play us at Fouts after we beat them forcing us to play at Texas Stadium (i.e. shifting homefield advantage away from us)

There was NO "shifting of home field advantage" by playing @ TX Stadium. DD chose to "forfeit" that game on Monday by starting Richard Bridges in a ludicrous attempt to punish Scott Hall. Hall would have made it a great, competitive game as he showed when he was finally let play in the second half. DD even had the 5-a offensive player of the year @ QB on the bench and wouldn't use him because he was a Matt Simon recruit, but RB was DD's pick so the fans were basically defrauded who bought tickets to that game!!

Um, Richard Bridges was a Matt Simon signee.

Both Bridges and Stack had a lot of ability but it was wasted in a system which wasn't conducive to developing quarterbacks. Hall, who had been a high school defensive back until his senior season, was able to shine because his athletic ability enabled him to overcome Dickey's system.

We all saw what happened when the first and second teamers played the Dickey system and the third stringers got to play on the Green Team.
