Attendence just in...

Usually weekday games have better attendence in Denton ....most students are in town.... weekends they scatter and attendence is lower.

Yes thanks for setting me straight on my thoughts. I was excited to go to the game the other night, and I was thinking of things that might bring more people to the game. Alumni and students will definitely be the number one focus to try and bring to the game via Marketing. I was thinking with a city the size of Denton and growning, I wonder if there is Marketing plans in place to bring the Denton Community to the game. It seems that bringing in new fans from the area would be neat. Maybe I'm off on my thinking. What do you think?

There were signs ALL over campus yesterday, especially in the commuter lots. Enough to make me say, wow, "that's a lot of signs."

Just looking for ways to reach out to the Denton Communtiy that's all. I do agree the crowd was great. Nothing wrong with trying to increase the fan base and excitiement about UNT Sports

I along with three others(could be 4,5 maybe even 7 others) will be making our first game tonight, I have not gone to a game in about two years, and when I went I don't think there was even 1000 people at the game I went to. I rarely visit the basketball boards, but, man oh man, 4300+?

I wished I could find some more of the full-sized bikini babe posters to hold up behind the opponents goal like we used to do. I haven't seen that in years but made for a good laugh.
