End of Conference Title Games

I like seeing AAC conf championship game listed on ESPN alongside Power 5 conf championship games, giveS me hope in the future UNT can be listed playing for conf championship- on ABC no less!

With a 12-team playoff, conference championships won't make sense for the P5 conferences.

They still will for the G5. Some teams will be hoping that a win gets them in the top 12. Others will be games between teams with no chance of the playoff, so a conference championship is meaningful.

Seven at-large spots in the playoff is way too many.  An 8-team playoff with the top 7 conference champs plus one at-large would be far better.

Agree.  The P5s want those at-large spots to get their extra teams in.   G5s will still only have 1 spot out of 12. 

The conference championship loss by Georgia may keep the SEC out of the CFP this year, lol.  The expansion is totally meant to prevent that in future years.
