Sales tax at The Star

Everybody that goes to the Star for the games, check your purchase at the refreshment stand.  I noticed they charged me 16.5% sales tax.  I brought it up and at first denied it, then a I drove it up to the food services director who acknowledged it, but said it was a glitch.  They would fix it by tomorrow. That is BS.  They are fleecing people.  I asked how they are going to refund all that extra money.  GE said it would automatically refund.  Check your sales tax.

Hopefully I can avoid paying for any overpriced food/beverage items, unless they turn the water fountains off again.

I estimate the overcharged fans a minimum of $15K yesterday.   May be much more.

If you're looking to avoid downloading another app, go to the left box office to get your physical tickets. The one on the right will refer you to go to Seatgeek.

After fees, the physical tickets are $2 less per ticket.

The max sales tax rate in Texas is 8.25%.  Looks like they are doubling it.

One other infuriating thing I found out at the game last night is the tip that you leave does not go to the person that is helping you. It goes straight to their supervisor. Not sure what happens after that.

Very wrong. Not sure whose policy that is, but it is terrible.
