DFW Area Recruiting update

The past recruiting week began with Flower Mound Marcus offensive line mates Keaton Sutherland and Creighton Barr signing their financial aid/early enrollment papers last Monday (Jan. 6). Sutherland, a four-star tackle, is headed to Texas A&M, while Barr, a three-star guard/center, will stay closer to home and play at North Texas. Sutherland committed to Texas A&M in mid-June, while Barr committed to UNT in mid-September.

Lee Morris, 2015 WR, Allen -- one of DFW's top sleepers got his third offer this past Friday from North Texas.

At this point I hope Mac takes the approach of stealing recruits from lower teams like Texas State. Heck, Tillman Johnson, looks like one of our top 3 commits from last year. Smu does it to us, we should do it too. I have begun to wonder if we are trying to go after recruits that are never going to land here and then when we don't land them we end up with not much else.

You named the one Texas school that NT has a conference advantage over, yet they too are killing NT in the recruiting ratings.
