After a July explosion, Mustapha Traore is starting to narrow down his college options.

The rising senior at the Phelps School, who plays his AAU basketball with the WE R1-affiliated Team F.O.E., came into the final live periods of the summer with offers from Maryland-Eastern Shore and Hartford, both of which he added just after deciding to transfer from Prep Charter to Phelps and re-classify last summer.

His collegiate interest stayed on simmer until he got back out in front of coaches this year, with three schools (Fairfield, Rider and UMBC) offering in June while six more (Cal State-Bakersfield, Saint Peters, North Texas, Iona, Wagner and Fairleigh-Dickinson) coming on board by the end of July.

Now that the craziness of the summer has calmed down, Traore has started to settle in on where hell actually be going to school a year from now. Hes cut his list down to five schools who have offered and one whos yet to: Fairfield, Monmouth, Saint Peters, Wagner, Fairleigh Dickinson and Florida Gulf Coast, with FGCU the only outlier in terms of an offer.
