Troy football player Dimitri Miles was arrested and charged with murder Sunday in connection with a shooting death at an off-campus apartment complex in Troy. . . .

According to Troy police, officers responded to a call from the Trojan Crossing Apartments complex just before 8 a.m. Sunday and found 26-year-old Marquise McClendon suffering from a gunshot wound inside an apartment. He was transported to Troy Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
