Good article. I didn't even know it was invented for Florida football players until about 10 years ago. Pretty amazing what it has turned into in the last 40+ years.

And, no it's not too soon.

One of my favorite lines about the death of a famous person ever, was a Letterman monologue joke. It was something like:

Harry Robertson, founder of the chain of Robertson movie theaters, passed away....at the age of 89. His body will be available for viewing at 10:10, 12:30, 2:50, 5:00, 7:15 and 9:40.

That's awesome. Not his death, just the lines. I actually didn't know about the Florida thing since 2002 when they had that commercial.
