Look at Kansas and Missouri this year, both are solid teams and one of them will go to the Big 12 championship game. But think about what they were four, even two years ago.

Both have slowly grown into solid, good teams while their fans have pissed and moaned like spoiled brats.

UNT football is at the beginning of a long, hard journey that should pay off several years in the future.

In the meantime, it's gonna hurt. But nothing worthwhile is easy.
