how many were at the game last night, not counting players or the band?

Sorry I missed listening last night fellas (so I didn't post the tower).  I had some things going on.

 

So, basically we din't look impressive, but won.  Could be worse!  We lost this sorta game in the past.  Let's just hope for improvement.

Does this game count on the schedule or was it exhibition, or was it one of those weird UNT counts it in the W column, but anybody related to rankings/tourney selection do not?

It's one of those counts as a W, but selection folks don't.

OK, so without somebody jumping in with the inevitable, "BECAUSE RV!!!11!!!11!!!1 ELEVENTY ONE!!!!"

Why not just make this an exhibition game instead of pissing away a regular season game on it?  That doesn't make any sense to me.

Because it pads the W total if you count it as a real game.

One can only have two exhibition games, two scrimmages with other schools, or one of each.  We had two scrimmages.

We already played SFA and TCU in scrimmages. UNT has almost always played a couple lower division schools to pad their wins.

Well JJ usually dominated lower level teams. The schedule use to be full of lower level condition in the mid to late 00's. Nowadays they are much more of a challenge...
