DRC column: UNT's goal line stand a sign of something bigger

This stand only matters if the appropriate follow up occurs.

The appropriate follow up is winning at least 8 games this year, being very competitive in the bowl game. and fielding another bowl team next year.

Without follow up, it's just one memorable moment in one memorable season.

Being competitive in the bowl game? Isn't that like practicing for 2nd place.

That defensive stand should be shown to every new player and recruit the minute they show up for Spring or Fall practice.

Disagree. It should be shown to every potential recruit the first time they ever meet a coach. "Hang on, we'll talk later. First, watch this."
