The stat that they have about the 47 year drought against ranked teams is wrong...credit to my dad MeanGreenBob for pointing this out.

UNT (then NTSU) defeated Louisville 79-73 in Louisville on February 27, 1971. Louisville Media Guide The information is on page 178.

At that time, Louisville was ranked #15 in the AP Poll. 2/23/1971 AP Poll

There may be more instances like this, but it appears our winless drought is not quite as bad as the KU article makes it out to be.
