I was skeptical, but I really do think we have a 50/50 chance of beating Rice after last night's game. We showed improvement just about everywhere but special teams. I mean, we are talking about Rice. I hope we can get a nice green clad crowd to show up.

Well now I know anything's possible. The Oakland Raiders won a game today...on the road...against an NFL team. If that can happen, then UNT can win several games this season.

Don't underestimate Rice. The thing that scares me most is they run an offense very similar to Tulsa. They will spread us out and if don't get pressue, it could be a long day of the defense.

Good point. We have improved at every game. Plus we have two weeks to get healthy and prep for Rice. Being so close to Port Arhthur and a good recruiting area, I bet Dodge will hang it all out there to get a win.

Green Greenade II... you make so many predictions that eventually one of them will come true I think that the Rice game could be our first win of the season too. I know that our guys have to feel pretty good about the LSU game despite the loss. There is a ton to build on from that game. The biggest concern now is, of course, special teams. We cannot win if they keep running back kicks for TDs or start off each possession on our 45 yard line.
