An area officer needs your prayers. Emmitt lost a friend and now a FW officer that Rick may know falls in the line of duty.

Yes it's a shame and all my prayers are with him and his family.

If any of ya'll ever want to donate money to help out, Russ Martin, a local DJ, has a "Fallen Officers Fund" that he runs and sends out a check immediately to the family of the officer to help them with whatever is needed. You can find it on his site.....the site is his name dot com. It's a pretty good thing that he does.

All lthe TV stations in the area have reported his death late Thursday afternoon.

This one hits home for my family because this is the same job that our son-in-law has with the Carrollton Police Department. His title is Marshall but the job is the same - go out and arrest people.
