The Mean Green finish with a 7-6 record, with a bowl win and SL keeps his job as the defense comes to life under PB and there is joy in Mean Green Land once again. 🙂 GO MEAN GREEN!!! WIN GAMES!!!!!!!

If we do not move up to a better conference it is no one's fault but our own. We all pretty much understand what it takes to play with the "big boys" and we have not done what it takes. We have to raise money, buy tickets to events, get more alumni involved and WIN GAMES! It is much easier to do the other stuff if we WIN GAMES. Basketball is doing its part and so are most other sports if we can just get that defense fix then I believe our football woes will improve as will our record and the time IS NOW! Give money, attend games, bring your friends and be Loud!!! GO MEAN GREEN WIN GAMES!!!

This is truly a good rivalry for both schools. All the money stays local and it is always a good draw at either school. Mountain West here we come........... I hope! GO MEAN GREEN!!! WIN GAMES!!!

I think everyone knows what the problem is, a lack of interest and money. In fact I think most of us have a pretty good grasp as to what it will take to fix both. WIN GAMES and a lot of them and the money will follow. How do you win games if you do not have the financial resources to compete with your fellow conference mates let alone step up to a "better" conference. Give as much as you can, I've increased mine in the past and I guess I need to again. The time is now guys, if you can, try to increase your contributions by 50% or more and be sure to attend games and take someone with you! GO MEAN GREEN!!! WIN GAMES!!!

My daughter lives near the UNTHSC campus, I had not driven by there in 20+ years. What a beautiful campus and buildings. It is a great facility that is an asset to our university. As far as concerts go, as a NTSU student I saw Eric Clapton at Tarrant County Convention Center. I will be seeing Slow Hand again in Cowtown as he kicks off his latest tour at...... Dickies Arena, can't wait. GO MEAN GREEN!!! WIN GAMES!!!

When Arkansas left the SWC that was the beginning of the end for the SWC. I like Arkansas football and basketball, that made our butt kicking in Fayetteville even sweeter. Are we scheduled to play them again in the future? If not I bet we don't play them in football for a while 🙂

SL threw the dice. If PB is a good of defensive coach at UNT as he has been at other places things will be just fine. In my mind last season for most all college football and college sports in general was an aberration. I believe five wins should be attainable, other teams can have "surprising" teams, stranger things have happened. Hopefully we will be surprised. Some maturity in the coaching staff should not hurt either. GO MEAN GREEN!!! WIN GAMES!!!

The bottom line is the Mean Green need to win and win as many games as possible. With the schedules we have and the teams we play it is unacceptable not to win 6 plus games, year in and year out. Until we consistently win games and at least 6 a year, any head football coach at UNT should be sweating for his job. I like SL but he needs to win again and soon. GO MEAN GREEN!!! WIN GAMES!!!

It is time, past time to be proactive. Like I said we have the facilities now, we just have to win games. Maybe we are "courting" the wrong league. If smut stays in the AAC and we cannot get in the only choice left is obvious. Baylor and TCU will not be joining the MWC. GO MEAN GREEN!!! WIN GAMES!!!

Honestly, we all know that the Big XII is going to implode when the new TV deal comes up for negotiations. What happens after that is of upmost importance to UNT. Will we be prepared? We now pretty much have the facilities and we CAN draw the crowds the location is good and I believe we are becoming a "recognized" University. We just need to WIN. If we win good things can happen if we don't I hope you like C-USA. I left UTSA out on purpose. GO MEAN GREEN!!! WIN GAMES!!!

I believe the Mountain West is our next best move and not a bad one. Realign with the four, IH-25 schools in the Mountain Time Zone with a one hour difference. New Mexico, Air Force, Colorado State and Whyoming. Add Rice, La Tech and UTEP and you have a pretty good eastern division. More money and exposure, better competition and travel costs are not unreasonable. We lose the Florida schools and lessen our expenses. They play pretty good basketball in the MWC and have some decent football. GO MEAN GREEN!!! WIN GAMES!!!

I'd say after what Wilcox did today, that should be an inspiration and a big momentum changer for the Mean Green! GO MEAN GREEN!! WIN MATCHES!!!

A four star quarterback and if we can get this four star wide receiver, in addition to our deep pool of really good wide receivers and we have a stable of excellent running backs, I think we should be sitting pretty again on offense. It appears that Coach Bennet has already had a big impact on our defense and it should only get better. I am beginning to feel better about our prospects in the fall. The entire athletic department seems to be running on all cylinders!! GO MEAN GREEN WIN GAMES!!!

We won the league Championship last year and did not get to go, I think that would be a better argument. Don't screw us twice! GO MEAN GREEN WIN GAMES!!!
