I give what I have to to buy my season tickets and when I am happy with the direction of things I give more. I vote with my few dollars. SL may not be the second coming of Hayden Fry but I would not compare him to Benford. That was an unmitigated disaster. I believe we expect more out of SL and he can be successful but has disappointed us if he can win more than 8 games and a bowl game he should get an extension. A short leash a incentivize contract. Give away to the students free tuition. Two drawings each game, halftime and end of game for free UNT stuff and at the end of the season pick one name out of the previous winners including that night for one years free tuition. Keep the students coming for that chance of the tuition. Have a contest between the Greek Organizations to see which one can get the most members there and give them some sort of an award, do it for each game. Get a fast food place to sell discounted tickets with a meal. The ideas should be endless. GO MEAN GREEN!!! WIN GAMES!!!

I am tired of losing but just like our players I am not going to quit. I know the last few years have been tough but hell guys so have the last 30 or so. Kinda like being a Cowboy fan, always next year. Our team didn’t quit this year and thrashed an undefeated team at home and ended up in a bowl game. Hopefully SL figured something out. So here we are in the off-season and the world is coming to an end. It won’t and let’s follow the example of last years team and support them like they did each other. I love basketball almost as much as football and Grant deserves anything he gets, like a BIG raise and another extension. In the 1970’s when this old man went to NTSU, we kicked butt in football and basketball. Fifty years later maybe we can do it again. It takes effort and it takes us all. I will be there next year a Proud season ticket holder. I am not happy but I love our University and I support our players and they deserve it. I graduated in 1980, Hayden Fry and Bill Blakely, what a time, it was fun, I want our current students to feel pride in their University, including it's athletics. Football is the king and frankly the only sport that is lacking, we are doing well pretty much across the board. If you do not buy season tickets for football next year then give that money to the MGSF, they can use it. GO MEAN GREEN!!! WIN GAMES!!!
