Do we even have a choice? I would love to field a team of our own players, guys loyal to the team. Sadly, that's not how it works anymore. And after watching SMU, Colorado, Tx State, etc... Everyone is going to go even more portal/NIL crazy. And, as has been said, if we lack the size and buy-in from the team... You don't have a lot of options but going scorched earth.

So, why do we keep landing the duds? Did RV piss off some voodoo lady back at the New Orleans bowl in 2001? Because that seems like the most likely scenario.

Not going for it. Morris is essentially a CEO, and a very well paid one, to take over an organization and build on it. Any CEO would have already been run out of the company on his golden parachute if they took a reasonable organization and completely turned it unprofitable in 10 months. We hired him to improve the program, and it's almost worse than ever. Bad decisions up front with the promise that maybe it will get better don't play anywhere else... and we customers shouldn't accept it. I don't care if he might be a good hire 3 years from now. This staff is bad now.

Good questions, and good answers. Damon has some strong presence, really good presentation and dialogue. I still want to believe... but Morris has always said the right thing and hasn't provided results, which is what scares me.
