  1. Honestly I think we stand a chance in all three, but I would be pleasantly surprised with just one win. When you look at our season, we were in position to win every game except for SMU. Had we not made some terrible play calls on 4th and short in Vegas, we could have kept up with the Rebels. But no team except for SMU has prevented us from putting points on the board.
  2. In my first game of the season yesterday (due to newborn son Labor Day weekend), I noticed a few things: Instead of a graphic for each starter, the PA just announced the players off a list of Offense/Defense. Since at least my freshman year in 2014, we have never been able to roll the graphics correctly. The PA timed up the "That's good for a Mean Green... first down!" differently/incorrectly. It was more like "That's good for a Mean Green first down!" The band seemed less active, especially when it mattered on defense.
  3. This list doesn't include teams who have never been ranked thoguh, correct?
  4. My buddy and I still sit behind the student section because we're still young and able to stand/yell all game. It is pathetic now. Forget how few people were there. We all complain that the students don't know to be loud on defense, but we emphatically did the "U-N-T" during the fight song and got crazy stares. I don't know if the ticketing process has changed again lately. When I graduated, they had just switched to the digital system and you had to create an account on UNT Tickets to get your student entry. I don't know why they would have made it more difficult. I'll reiterate they need to get back to simpler system -- scan your ID and you're in, get the ticket trailer back on campus, etc. Buying a little extra ticket stock would be a good investment in my opinion - screw the environment, for once.
  5. I am familiar with Kennesaw because of the stadium's history with Major League Lacrosse. It actually hosted a couple of sellout championship games there. So it's great for lacrosse. But wild for FBS football. Looks like CUSA's strategy is recruiting strong FCS programs. If they refuse to outright die, they should just go to FCS. Hoping LA Tech, MTSU, UTEP, and WKU can get out. Maybe LA Tech, MTSU, and WKU can get to the MAC. UTEP to Mountain West if they decide to expand or the Pac 12 poaches schools.
  6. The conference that once boasted UCF, Cincinnati, Houston, Louisville, TCU, SMU among others could play its football conference championship game in a 8,300-seat stadium as early as 2024.
  7. 38 to 27 Green, Littrell is given a 20-year extension, and the PR department lands him an interview on Good Morning America to discuss his eight-game CUSA win streak!
  8. I am a proponent of only wearing black jerseys once or twice a year. At the same time, these are fantastic. As long as we stay away from gray forever.
  9. San Diego State is beatable. They are currently 3-3 and average only 18.5 PPG. The game would be closeby, but would probably fall on Graduation Weekend. Overall I'm down!
  10. If we lose, obviously we're going to have to beat someone on the road to go to a bowl game. I don't like our chances in any remaining game away from Apogee.
  11. Friday: 7pm: utsa @ FIU CBSSN Saturday: 2:30pm: Charlotte @ UAB 2:30pm: WKU @ MTSU ESPN+ 3pm: LA Tech @ North Texas ESPN+ 5pm: Rice @ FAU ESPN+
  12. Milking this CUSA streak is worse than our other programs marketing all of their conference championships despite most of those teams not winning the conference tournament. (I understand it may be an unpopular opinion, and slightly off-topic, but I hate how the basketball program calls it a three-peat... they have not won the regular season title nor conference tourney in three straight years)
  13. I want him gone regardless, but to get an extension before 2023, I think would be given with a conference championship appearance AND a bowl win; not necessarily how many total wins.
  14. Born in New York and his tenure at Baylor was his only coaching experience in Texas.
  15. Makes sense. It's less than a two-hour flight. Unless we are flying Delta and have to lay over in Atlanta first.
  16. I love this forum so much. We're not even playing today and still several calls for Seth's job! (not saying I disagree)
  17. There will be the same offer for next weekend!: https://t.co/0j54fd8r8J
  18. It can be played on the soccer field! That's another reason I continue to endorse it besides loving the sport. We have a nice, new already-existing facility that's appropriately-sized.
  19. Once Charlotte's program gets started, the AAC will already have 7 women's lacrosse programs (Charlotte, East Carolina, Temple, Florida, James Madison, Old Dominion, and Vanderbilt). A men's team would be only the 4th D-I team west of the Mississippi. If we were to join Denver's conference, the Big East, we'd have the chance to play schools like Georgetown, Villanova, and Marquette. With UCLA and USC going to lacrosse-sponsoring B10, I wouldn't be surprised to see them add the sport in the near future.
