    The biggest facility upgrade I want to see is an expansion of Airport Rd/Bonnie Brae to four lanes by Apogee. A new basketball arena can wait. Especially if it seats less than 10,000 and is on the other side of campus. I've lost interest in baseball over the years, but again I'd like to see the first D-I men's and women's lacrosse programs in Texas be started at UNT.

    Any word on what UNT might put there? If they want to continue increasing on-campus population, there aren't too many lots left to destroy. Well, I guess there is. But I'd hate to see all of them go away. Maybe build up for a change with a similar residential building to Kerr B Tower?

    I can't really fault anyone for ever doing what's best for them, but it has really waned my interest in college sports, or at least my ability to keep up.

    The thing is, our students can't even chant right or yell on defense. As much as we all know the AAC offers better quality opponents, I don't think a noticable extra amount of students will show up outside the SMU or Navy (military family) games. Maybe students from Memphis, NOLA, Tulsa, etc. will show up to those games against their hometown teams, but they may take a passive approach to yelling for the Green.
