Honestly, having games broadcast on YouTube will probably reach more non-affiliated viewers than ESPN+.

There are plenty of Avenue "X" and streets named after trees around campus to dedicate after coaches. I wouldn't suspect anyone would get offended at that. Of course, Mac shouldn't be one of those coaches.

I'm not sure if the AAC acknowledges "Rivalry Week" that usually occurs the weekend after Thanksgiving, but it will be interesting to see who we draw between SMU or UTSA. Of course, our students don't care about UNT football that weekend, so maybe we should offer to play that weekend on the road every year.

In a couple of weeks, we will have the homecoming game Saturday, volleyball game on Sunday, and men's basketball home opener on Monday. I asked the ticket office if we will see a similar deal, and the answer was no, but for the football team's 8-game CUSA win streak, they are offering $8 tickets in the corner 200 sections, and 300-level wing zone seats.

Keep with it until it stops working. Or until it's 4th and 1. Maybe be a little more patient getting back to the line on a few plays, though, and give the defense a breather.

Between legalities, vendor contracts, liability issues, etc. etc. I doubt there's any way to do it... but the Greek tailgates need to be in the stadium to have any chance of getting them all to watch the game. They are obnoxious but truth be told the AD needs to work with them to get all their peeps in the stands once the game actually starts.

Yeah, the walk across the highway is a lame excuse. Continental drift has not made the walk any further over 10 years. I get today's world is all about convenience, but it is just six weekends a year, and on the same day of the week. The game ends early enough to get back to your dorm/apartment, shower, and go out. Going to the football game should be the thing to do if you're in college. There's 10,000 on-campus students, plus however many on Greek row and the ever-increasing number of apartments within walking distance. There should be a lot more people on the east side.
