I bought from the UNT ticket office a few years back for the Tulsa game. I went to claim my tix and was greeted with crickets. I mentioned Roy, our UNT contact, and was immediately handed comp tickets. I’d like to think we’ve grown since then. Still miss Roy, though. He was great.

The class looks great! All high school kids. We offered some JUCO’s, but they committed elsewhere. I think it’s impressive we’ve been able to hold onto every commit. One of the GMG podcasts mentioned how the HS kids have become friends and have taken the mindset as “help is coming.” Thanks for the link, @BillySee58!

SL caught lightening in a bottle with Fine. I doubt he expected to find the greatest QB in UNT history in his first class. Fine carried this team the last few years. The normal projection from 1-11 to where we want to go will begin. To his/Fine’s credit, the expectations have changed. SL realizes it. This season has been tough, but the better days are ahead. SL’s initial hires were legit! He needs to find those gems again. Recruit, coach, win. GMG!

I fully expected a Quinn Shanbour type game plan as soon as Bean stepped in. There was a bit of it, but not as drastic as it should have been. I think you’re right. A Bean QB is a big shift in philosophy, which is okay, but the results needs to happen.

I hope you’re wrong. Reffet was easy to keep around because we kept winning. The winning has slowed and there will need to be a scape goat. I doubt Reeder is axed...the O-line has been especially rough, though. I hope Fine is able to recover from his concussion and win these final two games to make us bowl eligible. It’d be great to end this season on a high note, but still revamp what needs to be revamped. The recruits are coming, but the coaching needs to happen to maximize the future. GMG!

And Simmons missed a slightly contested lay up with 50 seconds left. . The game was close. It was a team effort win/lose. I agree, this has the makings of a solid season. GMG!

Just saw the replay...this team is easily better than last year. This team has multiple shooters and athletes. Defense was solid. I wish the low post was a bit more aggressive, but this team shows promise. Looking forward to a great year. GMG!

Ha! I did this two weeks ago and we won! Same thing last week and we lost to Charlotte. It’s out of my hands, Mean Green faithful. It’s the teams turn to step up. GMG!
