It would feel like a missed opportunity with the best QB in UNT history. The silver lining would be a Bowl Win. This team could still run the table. The enthusiasm from the IPF combined with the Bye may be just what this team needs to come back strong!

I think we tried running some screens to Torrey, but the balls got batted down. Prior to the game, I thought we’d try Shorter more often. He had one deep ball and it ended up being a TD. Good points, MGT

Disagree. I thought UH’s band took away from the football experience. They played the same 3 songs the entire game, they played an annoying train on kickoffs, and they had a Disney themed halftime show (we did this a few years ago). They interrupted a few of our songs, too. Two competing tunes just created noise. I was pleasantly surprised when they did not interrupt our post game alma mater. They did have great energy, but overall was not Impressed. I’m liking the direction of our band. GMG!

LaTech was louder for sure. Granted there wasn’t much to cheer for early on, but it just felt like the crowd never really got into it. We were louder at the SMU game. I don’t get it.

I’m pretty sure we’re going. Most likely headed down on Friday morning and leaving on Sunday. Haven’t looked into hotels yet, but we’ll probably look into an AirBnB. GMG!

UNT-51 UH-21 Our offense clicks on all cylinders. Defense is stout until it gives up some points late in the game. I believe in the Mean Green!

That sounds familiar. UT, led by Chris Simms, went up 27-0 in the first half, but didn’t end up scoring in the 2nd. Including that game, I think that defense went 10 quarters without allowing a TD.
