The Athletic Department used the idea about tons of posters and hashtags this week and seemingly ran with it--the new posters they plastered all over campus say #hit30k, #FillApogee and a bunch of the usual ones with some info about the team's success! Very similar but more football related than the ones the SAA made (which were totally awesome.)

Hope we can hit that goal.

I had lunch at LSA burger, today. RV and other athletic department folks came and sat next to my table. I "overheard" them talking about different scenarios about ECU, Rice, Tulane, etc. As I left, I asked them if they had the "fried roadrunner". These guys are into it folks. Doing a good job all around. Go Mean Green!!

It seems they should put some around Denton...the alumni side was lacking last time

I am still wondering if the Apogee shuttle will run again on Saturday. I've called DCTA and the athletic dept., but no one seems to know. If ANYONE knows please post. If it runs I can bring three or four more people, if not, it will be me alone (walking back to town from Apogee).

i saw RV there last week. man, RV must love himself some LSA burgers.

i think DCHC made a better burger, but the atmosphere at LSA can't be beat. very cool for denton. the old DCHC is hanging on the ceiling as your go to the back staircase.

Yes, what Andrew said. It is great. My wife and I had 2 different burgers, both were delicious. We also shared garlic parmesan fries, which I love, and they were fantastic. Very cool, very dentony place. GMG!

You really need to stop stalking RV. They are serious about that restraining order.

      SB at Charlotte (5/3-5/24)

      It all comes down to this. The softball ladies are a game behind FAU and Charlotte for first place in the conference. The Mean Green already own the tiebreaker 2-1 with FAU, so winning two of three in Charlotte this weekend would also be huge in that it would give the ladies the tiebreaker over both teams in case there is a three-way tie at 19-8. The biggest reason to try to take two of three in Charlotte is that second and third place in the conference is the difference between having to win just two games in two days to make it to the NCAA Tournament, or four games in four days. We can't finish lower than third. Fourth place Tulsa is 3 games behind UNT, and we swept them earlier in the year. Tulsa plays at FAU this weekend. Charlotte will be a tough out. Last year by way of playing one fewer conference game due to a rainout, they finished with one loss fewer than UNT and won the regular season title. However, we took two of three at home to the 49ers before beating them again in the conference tournament. They still made it to the NCAA Tournament as an at-large. This year, Charlotte has taken 2 of 3 at USF and vs. Wichita State while sweeping the likes of UAB and Tulsa, and are on an 11-game win streak overall. Standings going into the final weekend. The conference tournament is May 8-11 in Wichita. If we make it to the final on Saturday at 11 am, be prepared to drop everything and head up to Kansas to support! SCHOOL CONF CPCT. OVERALL PCT.
