just wanted to start a topic recognizing what an outstanding job Jeremy Phillips did last night... playing with that cast on his hand he played great getting outside and stuffing those quick screens... even when he didnt make the tackle he forced the ball carrier back into awaiting tacklers

It won't show in the box score, but he did a tremendous job keeping contain on their bubble screens. Probably his best game in two years.

If not for the cast, I think he would have had a pick 6 on the pass break up.

Maybe regarding the interception. I thought the same thing until I saw the replay. Regardless, he was outstanding.
