Hopkins came up big tonight! Davis had another average night, but I got the sense that he knew it and was setting up his teammates with shots. His line reflects that he went to the boards and made assists. They all played pretty well, even our "junior Bradley" Masters. Let's hope we get Winthrop tomorrow and put one on them. That will make us 3 -2 on the road to open the season and coming home on a roll to face TCU Tuesday. I'm leaving the office at 4:30 Tuesday so I won't get caught in that I-35 evening traffic nightmare from Dallas to Denton.

Good win. Not sure it means anything this early but Weber State was rated no. 59 in the sagarin ratings.

Weber St. had beaten UC-Santa Barbara, Montana Tech, Ball St. and Nevada. Their only loss was to Alaska-Fairbanks in the final of the Top-of-the-world classic. Their home arena looks cool in blue......

Weber State is one of those schools that makes noise come March time. If I remember right they've upset some of the big boys in years past.

I know one year Weber St. gave Kansas a scare in the first round. I also believe the upset a team with the 12-5 freak occurence a few years back.
