From the SMU board

Save WR, this SMU team had more talent at EVERY position than UNT.

This loss was pure coaching: X and O's, preparation, game-day calling.

They really believe this! This is why beating them down is so sweet. They believe that everyone associated with Tech is automatically better than us. Well, enjoy your 0-2 record with your superior talent.

That "superior talent" couldn't block well enough to prevent the blocked punt? Or the other TDs? Their "superior talent" on special teams could not block well enough on their (missed) extra point?

Their QB Willis is good and the RB that got hurt is pretty good.

Superior talent?

If the players were better, then:

- no blocked punt

- no near-sacks (SMU is lucky they have fast QBs)

- our WRs wouldnt have beaten them deep almost every play

- they wouldve been able to stop Wilson

- SMU wouldnt have committed some really costly penalties

Sorry, but both the coaches and players shot themselves in the feet last night.
