Nice aerial view of Akron's Stadium

Nice looking, older venue posted by Scottie on the M&G Board.  Note the light poles next to the field, and the ground level lettering outside the stadium....

Akron's Rubber Bowl

It's not near as nice as it looks in person. Made that trip 2 years ageaux.

Stadium needs a lot of work, although they do have a beer garden (at least one of our fans stayed there the entire game).

We had more folks tailgating there than Akron fans.

They did have Otis Day & the Knights performing on stage.

I am heading up there for the game.

I have been poking around on thier board, asking questions...just about got laughed off the board when I asked about attendance. Later I realized that they are the only school with a winning record that is under the NCAA 15k. They seem like a nice bunch, very similar to our fans. Basically the same gripes. Fan apathy, need a new stadium, where is the marketing...etc. They also have a mommy's boy neighbor school in Miami Ohio. I think they call them the sweaters.
