Howerton tonight in Denton

Coach Jones and coach Rike were there.

Ponder's tallest player is about 6-2. They doubled and tripled Howerton all night long.

It is impossible for me to translate Howerton's play against Ponder into Div I potential. About all I can say is he seems to be reasonably well-coordinated and runs well for someone his size and age. At the Whataburger Tournament last December I saw Howerton execute a flat footed dunk. That says something for his jumping ability. Howe meets Argyle in the next 2A playoff round. Argyle has a 6-6 and a 6-5 player in their line-up.
