After basketball was swept by UTSA this year, 3-0, it'd sure be nice for softball to reclaim those games with a sweep in San Antonio against an 8-19 Roadrunners team.

The Lady Roadkill were recently swept by the ACU team we handled Tuesday night.

I was pretty hard on our team early this year, but heard during the ACU broadcast and the ECU broadcast this past weekend that we had played the 31st most difficult schedule to that point.  Hope it pays off and we build on our four game win streak.

Took a look at the conference standings tonight. We're the only undefeated team left. Also, look out for FAU. They took 2 of 3 from conference-favorite Wichita State in Kansas.

I didn't watch the games Friday, but a little "welcome back" for Kat Ibarra the first AB of the game as she gets on base via HBP.

Gamble with a two-run homer off the right field foul pole with get Game 3 started in UNT's favor.

North Texas has now homered off of both foul poles in this series. The other one was by Mikayla Smith the first game on Friday. She had two 3-run homers that game.

Raining again in San Antonio. 2-0 in the bottom of the second. The game just got delayed again.

Hope we don't get jipped out of another victory.

Constant interruptions due to the weather that utsa handled much better than us. We looked uninspired late in the game. 
Also, I didn’t see DeLong after the last delay. Anyone know where he was?

I think it's easier to handle those weather interruptions....when you're the home team. (and it's a travel day). Our gals had I would guess a bus ride from SA to home, afterwards. The game spread out from 1 til after 6....can't blame them for being a bit distracted. 

And also that UTSA pitcher....deserves credit for pitching a great game. 

5-1 in league play......play Tulsa at home for three games this weekend.

She did pitch a great game after we rocked her pretty hard in Game 1 of the series.
