Chad Morris on SMU-UNT rivalry, expectations for QB Matt Davis

Recommended Posts

On North Texas-SMU rivalry:

"This is my second year in it. From talking to everybody around it, this has been a rivalry for quite some time. I don't know the consistency of the scheduling of SMU and North Texas has been. I think they've been on and off and on and off. But to have these two teams on the schedule for the next several years is good. It's good for both communities, it's good for the city of Dallas and for our areas. It's good for high school football in this state and in this part of Dallas. I'm excited about it. I know Coach (Seth) Littrell is a phenomenal coach. He's extremely gifted in his offensive schemes, and he's been around some phenomenal head coaches. I think he's excited about his first go about it. The only difference between he and I is I'm about 21 months ahead of him."

    1. 1. You can criticize and be critical of UNT Football (staff, hires, play calls, marketing, etc.) and still whole-heartedly support the team and want UNT Football to succeed?

      • Yes, you can be critical and a die hard fan at the same time.
