SMU over Tech??!!

I know Bob Knights gotta be pissed about losing in the final game of their last tournament and getting booted of the top 25 list, but losing to SMU?? That's just disgraceful! I guess the honeymoon is over for Knight in Lubbock and their true colors (as a mediocre basketball team) are coming through...

Upsets happen. I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss the Red Raiders, they'll probably flirt with another 20 win season. SMU might be better than you think, who knows? I was impressed the way TCU played Kansas tonight, even though the Jayhawks took it to them near the end.

For much of the game the Frogs were toe to toe with #1.

Yeah, as much as I hate the frogs (especially right now), I have to give them credit for really giving KU a scare and probably a mouthfull in the locker room at half-time.

As far as the upsets, November has been really screwy this year with powerteams falling to relative un-knowns... take Villanova's wake-up call against Chaminade (i just happened to see the last 10 minutes, and it was a great game). It just shows how equal the NCAA basketball teams are getting, I really like it! But as far as TT goes this year, I'm just not sure that these early mishaps are going to hurt them, especially with OU, UT, Kansas and even Baylor coming later in the year... It could be a long year
