I had heard that Wren and Seth’s relationship was strained and Wren wanted to let him go but his hands were tied by the powers that be. 🤷‍♂️ And if Jared was Wren’s savior, then he would do what it takes to take him to WV too. The only reason I could see Jared staying behind would be if he thought he had a shot at the job here. And this school administration doesn’t seem like the "promote from within" type of leadership.

My initial thought to this was: Mason! But then I thought longer and it became pretty apparent as time went on that Mason was more of Harrell’s legacy than Seth’s. For me, he’ll probably be the guy who did a lot of good things, raised the bar, raised the floor, initially hired great assistants and unfortunately always got blown out in big games.

5 hours later and I can say… Well this didn’t age well. 😂

Why did they have to do this on Sunday night? This news makes me want to go drink and celebrate new beginnings for UNT football but I have to work tomorrow. 😓

What is the significance of 2-5?? Well... it's our record this year against teams that will be in the American next year. Absolutely atrocious. Average loss in those 5 was by 18.6 points. They were all double digit losses except the first UTSA loss. Let this fool go already! He ain't worth a damn.

I disagree. You can wait until next Saturday to fire him. However, if we wake up next Sunday and he hasn’t been fired, then he’s ours for another year. Better national exposure for your conference if you’re not trying to compete in the same time slots with P5 conference championship games.

Does it have to be made? No. Are many of the good HC candidates gone by then if you wait? Most assuredly. I think the only way SL gets let go after a bowl game is if Wren has his replacement already lined up.

I doubted Seth could beat WK too and you saw how that turned out. 😂 i agree that we just need to win. But I would not be surprised one bit if Seth finds a way to lose and still backs into the conference championship game.
