  1. Don't see a listing for it. Anyone? GO MEAN GREEN!
  2. Something positive going into halftime. GO MEAN GREEN!
  3. The power that the dissidents on this board have is easy access to mass communication, not financial leverage. IMO I'm afraid that, and $1.50, will get you a cup of coffee. GO MEAN GREEN!
  4. We are one of two things. Irrelevant and/or a punch line. Now we get to have our asses handed to us again by a perennial CUSA foe on Fox Sports SW. Another opportunity for scorn and ridicule on national television. Are you seeing this Dr. Smatresk? It's an embarrassment.
  5. ...............I don't get it. But, GO MEAN GREEN!
  6. I read this post with nodding approval. Written by an old friend who I met at a practice many years ago. Harry, you have always been the voice of reason, even during times as torturous as these. You know this program inside and out and have a passion that is unmatched by anyone in the Nation. Your approach toward the AD, administration, the players, and even us unwashed fans has been fair, rational and almost always spot on. So, as I read your post again, I began to smile and thought to myself, Harris Meirs should be the Athletic Director of our beloved university. Why not? Surround yourself with the best people you can find and get this ship righted. Hank would be a great right hand man to help you with the ins and outs of the job until you got your feet wet. We've always wanted someone with ties to North Texas in the AD, so, why not Harry Meirs? Thanks for all you do for all of us and for giving us the forum to voice our worthless opinions. You're the man, Harry! GO MEAN GREEN!
  7. I don't think you need to fear that Chico will be hired here long term. However, I believe he will make a good HC someday. Just not here. He has taken on the team twice now when it was/is in total disarray and coached/motivated the team to play better. I liked what I saw from Chico last night, but the timing for him is not there. Nevertheless, I think he is a fine coach. GO MEAN GREEN!
  8. Chico is the right man for this job, right now. I know, who else on the staff could do this? But this team sucks and he has made it better in only four days. Yes, the defense is non-existent, but we are losing the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Hard to coach that up. Demarcus is the only hope we have at a win. If we can at least make some first down and stop teams from starting at mid-field all game, we have a chance and that will give our defense a chance to stop somebody. WKU is a damn good team and will give LSU all they want. I think there is a chance for a win this season, maybe two. GO MEAN GREEN!
  9. Just makes me sick that Coach Mac would be that stubborn to start his friend's son over putting Smith at QB and winning! I think Canales wanted to start Smith but Coach Mac wouldn't allow it. And it cost him his job.
  10. I liked that we were playing some true freshmen. #51 on defense (can't think of his name at the moment) #82, (his either) and #41. Sorry, no program in front of me, but saw some potential in all three. GO MEAN GREEN!
  11. I admire Houston's desire for the "big time." I wish UNT felt this way. GO MEAN GREEN!
  12. You guys, you guys. Dr. S. is not going to answer the question in that type of forum. It was a PC answer and I would not read anything into it. Purely political. GO MEAN GREEN!
  13. It's because it's a short week. Chico runs the offense, Cosh, the defense. If we see any improvement, maybe we'll keep you through the end of the year. Or until a new coach brings in his staff on November.
  14. Because it is a culture of losing. Clean house. GO MEAN GREEN!
  15. No game film tomorrow for tonights game. Open competition at every position and start over. New season starting Thursday night. GO MEAN GREEN!
  16. McNulty should never see the field again. Neither should Greer. It should be Smith and Means from here on out.
  17. Someone who is young, hungry, experienced and can recruit. Should be easy, eh? GO MEAN GREEN!
