  1. Is it just me, or are we screwed at wide recievers? I looked at the roster and it looks like we are filled with red shirt freshmen and just two upperclassmen.
  2. So after tonight's performance, is it safe to say that McCarney not only handcuffed Chico's offense, but also the players that could best run it by being a stubborn old man and playing favorites? Just saying, minus the offensive line looking like swiss cheese, that's the offense I was expecting when they said it would be "uptempo". Sure we got our ass beat, but at least it was nice to see a competent qb, and a somewhat effective offense.
  3. I wrangled these graphs up in a few minutes. I'll make some better graphs later this week, including some with more than basic information. Data source: ESPN box scores, 2013 and 2014. Graphs produced quick & dirty in LibreOffice Calc. Yikes. Double yikes.
  4. Considering the fact that everyone seems to think that we are not a young team....... we are an inexperienced team. But more so..... Our depth is THE BIGGEST reason for concern. Defense in particular. We have a lot of new injuries coming in. And a lot of people saying that these new guys haven't been on the field..... Let's hope that the minimal depth we have is enough to prove that Mac can recruit well AND HOPEFULLY WE KEEP THESE GUYS CLEAR FROM INJURY the rest of the season. There are a multitude of our guys that are absolutely in a world of pain at 23 years of age. Also consider that when you talk your trash. This is not the NFL.
  5. Obama during the debate is like our Mean Green football team during a football game. No offense.
